Newest VectorCAST integration allows TI customers to leverage the benefits of VectorCAST™ automated testingJune 10, 2013
Vector Software, the leading provider of dynamic software testing solutions for embedded systems, today announced support for the CrossWorks for MSP430 integrated development environment from Rowley Associates.
CrossWorks for MSP430 is a complete development solution for building, testing, and deploying applications on Texas Instruments ultra-low-power MSP430 microcontrollers. CrossWorks includes an ANSI C compiler, macro assembler, linker/locator, libraries, core simulator, flash downloader, JTAG debugger, and Rowley's integrated development environment, CrossStudio.
The VectorCAST Runtime Support Package, VectorCAST/RSP, is an add-on to the VectorCAST toolset enabling testing of real-time applications directly in an embedded target or simulator environment. VectorCAST/RSP works in conjunction with VectorCAST/C++ to provide automated module testing in a real-time embedded environment.
“We are pleased to continue to expand our offering for the Texas Instruments user community,” commented Bill McCaffrey, Chief Operating Officer at Vector Software. “With our CrossWorks for MSP430 integration, VectorCAST continues to help TI customers produce high-quality software and accelerate time to market.”Press Release: Vector Software Integrates VectorCAST with the Rowley CrossWorks IDE for MSP430
