The advances in modern medicine have been staggering. Stem cell therapies, targeted cancer treatments, telemedicine and robotic surgeries are just a few. Not too long ago it took months and millions of dollars to sequence a person’s genes. Now it costs $1000 and takes a few hours, and soon it will take minutes and cost pennies.
