Is IoT the secret ingredient for tackling food waste?

Courtesy of Emerson Emerson, the world's largest maker of garbage disposals, is using the Internet of things to refine its Grind2Energy service. Emerson might not be a household name, but its Insinkerator line of garbage disposals helped the $22.3 billion corporation earn status as the world’s largest provider of equipment for handling food waste.
