How to modify constant data to achieve coverage?

Is it possible to modify constant data of same file as function being evaluated, to achieve 100% coverage.
Suppose example code is,

I did the same. I went to build option and selected the ignore type qualifiers and recompiled the code. But still im getting the same error, "assignment of a read only option"

In the example, the purpose of the code is to form a sanity check on the size and the offset.
