Last week we attended Embedded China 2012 in Shanghai. Bill McCaffrey, COO and Co-founder of Vector Software presented a paper titled: How to Efficiently Address the Key Compliance (SIL/ASIL, ISO 26262, EN 50128) Verification Requirements.
Bill was the only non-chinese speaking presenter but was eagerly followed by an attentive audience. The event was somewhat smaller than other shows but proved to be successful.
The Vector Software APAC engineers assembled a small remote controlled racing car that showed a real-world code coverage capability. As the car was driven, the executed source code was retrieved from the target board and displayed on the monitor. This proved to be a big hit during the conference.
