 Welcome

Welcome to the Spring 2011 edition of VectorCAST Directions!

I know many of you still have lots of ice and snow on the ground, but believe it or not spring is only a few short days away. After this past winter, I for one am really looking forward to warmer weather!

We recently attended the Embedded World 2011 Conference in Nürnberg Germany. Attendance at this year’s event was up considerably from last year. There were more than 800 exhibitors and over 19,000 attendees; a sure sign that the economy is beginning to rebound! Over the course of the show, we had hundreds of visitors stop by the Vector Software booth. During the event, we made several announcements, including the TÜV SÜD certification of VectorCAST for IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 and the VectorCAST integration with the OSEK Real-Time Operating System. We also announced the release of VectorCAST 5.2. This latest release of VectorCAST includes multiple new features and is designed specifically to enhance overall productivity for developers and managers. For pictures and video from Embedded World 2011, visit the Automated Testing Blog.

If you plan on attending any of the upcoming Real-Time & Embedded Computing Conferences, please stop by and introduce yourself! Vector Software will be presenting at the RTECC Events in: Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, New York, and Boston. For details, visit VectorCAST.com.

Enjoy the soon to arrive spring weather!
