Vector Software Announces Support for the Altium’s TASKING Tricore Compile

East Greenwich – February 4, 2010 - Vector Software, the leading provider of software test tools for embedded systems, today announced support for the TASKING Tricore compiler. Previous versions of VectorCAST have already supported the TASKING compiler on 56k and C166 chips. Support for the TC1165 and TC1766 simulators is available as an off-the-shelf product, and integration to live boards and additional simulators is also available.

VectorCAST’s integration with the TASKING compiler leverages the capabilities of the TASKING Script Debugger, which makes it possible to execute test cases on target or with the simulator automatically. The TASKING compiler is made by Altium. The industry’s leading developer of electronic product development solutions.
