Vector Software has a new Director of Product Marketing and Sales Operations – me!
Many of you know me already, as I have been a Sales Manager for every state in the country and many countries in addition to the United States during my nearly 8 years with Vector Software. I was actually first hired in 1997 as the company’s first sales person. I was here for 2 years and then returned in 2007. So I have a long history with, and love of, Vector Software!
In my new role, I will be responsible for many things involved with VectorCAST. But the thing I am most excited about is meeting with our customers to better understand their goals for embedded software testing and sharing with them the improvements we are making in the product to support those goals.

Volvo Trucks has developed a collision warning and emergency braking system that combines advanced radar and camera technology to help prevent accidents caused by driver distraction.
When the system detects a potential collision, the warning system activates a constant red light in the windshield to alert the driver. If no driver reaction is detected, the system increases to a flashing red light and an audible signal. If there is still no reaction, the system will first gently apply the brakes and will eventually use the emergency brakes to bring the truck to a full stop if necessary.
